Art, Architecture and Product Design

Initially, my interests and abilities were in the fine arts, primarily painting.

Seizing life opportunities, I acquired a degree in Architecture at SCI-Arc and simultaneously worked and headed the mechanical design and develpment of advanced computer systems and equipment at USC-ISI research facilities in Marina Del Rey, CA.

Moved to Northern California in the mid-90's and worked as Senior Product Designer for GVO, Inc., one of the oldest and established product develpment firms in Silicon Valley.

I began teaching Pro-Engineer CAD at Cabrillo College in 2003, part-time to the present, now including SolidWorks.

Principal founder of an umbrella product design firm named Design Santa Cruz, in collaboration with 8 other designers, engineers and model makers.
